Norden is a home goods brand I founded in 2014 in Encinitas, CA and ran for eight years until 2022.

Norden designs and produces a line of thoughtfully curated home goods with a focus on quality craftsmanship and sustainability. The brand gained international recognition landing it on the shelves of hundreds of retailers worldwide. Notable retailers included: Herman Miller, Le Bon Marche, CB2, Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Madewell, Goodhood, END, Fred Segal, and West Elm. Norden was also featured in the pages of publications such as GQ, Vogue, Monocle, and Domino.

In addition to its main product line, Norden also created a series of special projects, collaborating with artists such as Cody Hudson and Chaz Bear (of Toro y Moi) on exclusive capsule collections. The brand built special products and collections for retailers like Nordstrom and Fred Segal, and interfaced with brands like Stampd and North Face Purple Label on custom and collaborative product releases.

Starting in 2019, Norden became a third party retailer selling and distributing goods from niche brands from around the world, and opened retail pop up locations in New York City and Southern California.

As it’s founder I participated in every aspect of the brand: designing and developing all products, bringing product to market, creative direction, supply chain coordination, production, and leading the financial aspects of the business. Norden still exists under new ownership.
